When I was a kid I wanted to grow up and play for the Dodgers. But I turned out to be better at throwing analytic curveballs than actual ones, so, a few decades later, here I am as a professor. I’m still a huge fan of all LA sports teams and of the Bulldogs, the Cardinal, and Tottenham Hotspur (COYS!). When I’m not doing purely academic things, I’m probably out hiking with my husband (Daniel) and dog (Holtby), tending to the yard, exploring on my road bike, or watching too much TV. If I’m not doing any of that, I’m probably compulsively refreshing my Twitter feed…
